Maclaren Stroller Recall

This is a major stroller recall involving Maclaren umbrella strollers, single and double. Please read this article and get your free repair kit. I actually have this stroller, but luckily haven't had any serious problems with it. Definitely no amputations.

to sleep organic or not?

A friend emailed the other day, asking if it's worth it to spend lots of money on an organic mattress. She had gotten advice from a friend of hers, suggesting that organic was the only way to go. I buy some organic myself for my kids, but mainly food. I don't think you need to spend $300-$400 on a mattress for the baby's crib. We survived just fine without organic, right? You can find so much information out there in cyberspace, it's so overwhelming. Ultimately, it's your choice. But I told her, bottom line, do what you think is best. Another friend was in on the email discussion, and she said that as a mom, you'll always be second-guessing your decisions and you can't do that. You'll drive yourself crazy! And being a parent is already crazy enough as it is. All you can do is do the best you can. And remember, as long as everyone survives the day, tomorrow is another day!

Introduction

So here I am, blogging. How 'bout that! I have a new company that I am trying to promote and get up and running. It's called Belly Bumps Baby Planning, and I help parents-to-be get ready for their baby. I can help with registry shopping, and answer questions about what baby gear to get. I can even help plan the baby shower and send out birth announcements after the little tike is gracing the world with his/her presence.
